Effectively teaching a large class requires significantly more effort on logistics and organization than does working with a smaller group. Many aspects of instruction, such as classroom management, grading, content delivery, and student  engagement, may also need to be rethought to be feasible for the greater numbers. If you are teaching a large class (whatever “large” means to you) during Spring 2018, we invite you to apply to join a short-term community of instructors. This group will meet four times between February and May to debrief the experience of teaching a large class, discuss scholarly literature and proven approaches, and build a community of support with one another.
