When: January 3, 2018 at 12:00pm
In this online, asynchronous workshop, you will learn how to structure the face-to-face classroom interaction that you have with your students to meet your learning outcomes. Whether you are a novice or an experienced teacher, this workshop is for you. We will discuss how to identify appropriate delivery methods (such as lecture, discussion, etc.) and choose from a wide repertoire of teaching and learning strategies for both small and large classes. Participants will leave with a plan for a single class session and with the tools for planning others.
This workshop will run over the course of one week, from Jan 3 – Jan 10, 2018. It will take place in Carmen, and will be self-paced for the most part, i.e., you do not need to be online at specific times during the week. Space will be limited, and you will need an active OSU name.# to participate.
