In addition to teaching strategies, instructors also have a variety of options about if and how to use technology in their teaching.  Technology can be a powerful addition to facilitate student learning and assist in the instruction of a course.  However, it can also be distracting if not used in ways that are congruent with the course content and the course goals.  In this section, different ways to teach with technology will be presented and discussed, examples of effective technology use will be provided, and additional resources will be offered.
