My primary concern as an educator is the growth and ultimate success of my students. I believe that teaching is about sharing, building, and exploring. Teaching design is a dynamic experience considering the infinite amount of unique possibilities design solutions can offer. One of my goals is to create an intimate setting that promotes dialogue, play, interaction, empowerment and discovery. It is my intent to assist students on 'how' to develop their ideas, without imposing ideas or aesthetics that are my own. I believe that every student is an individual - with individual assumptions, associations and experiences. I make every effort to recognize these unique characteristics, embrace them, and provide individual instruction where appropriate.
