After 22 years of teaching beginning engineering and design, he still loves to work with students. Before returning to his alma mater to teach he spent 30 in industry with responsibilities from design engineer to corporate staff director. This background makes him very demanding of his students for accuracy and clarity in design documents while he is also caring--helping his students to become valued professionals. Outside of teaching his interests are in research on engineering education and traveling with his beautiful wife.
