Facilitating Learning through the Research Process

Students often see the final product of an assignment – the final paper – as the point of an assignment, especially if that is the only point during the research process where they receive support or on which they are assessed. Representatives from Writing Across the Curriculum and the University Libraries will talk about how to help students focus on the learning that can come from the research process as well as the product(s), exploring various models and resources for supporting students throughout their projects.
